Who is Kate Upton and Why Does My Boyfriend Love Her?
No relationship is perfect. We all fight our own battles — whether your boyfriend forgets to pick you up from swim practice, doesn’t notice your new haircut or simply doesn’t want to get drunk and make out 24/7 (haha, yeah right). You talk it out, forgive and forget.
But what happens when the “battle” at hand is a 5’10 blonde bombshell named Kate Upton and she’s taking up 100% of your BF’s attention? Clean up on aisle five, droolfest.
Ladies, I think it’s time we learned as much as possible about Ms. Upton, relationship terrorist. Arm yourselves with knowledge and an even fiercer, lacier, whore-ier set of underwear. Our friends at COEDMagazine, who were some of the first guys to drink the Kate Kool-Aid, did us the favor of recapping her finer moments of 2011. Take heed.

Ellen tries to get Kate Upton to confirm Mark Sanchez is her boyfriend
Using a maze of circular logic and semantics, Ellen DeGeneres tried to get Sports Illustrated cover model Kate Upton to confirm she was dating New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez during Thursday's episode.
Ellen was unsuccessful in those attempts, as Upton danced around the question and refused to give a straight answer.

Fox News Interviews Both Kate Upton And Her Congressman Uncle About Her Sexy Sports Illustrated Cover
by Jon Bershad
This past week, supermodel Kate Upton has been all over the news, partly because she nabbed the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover spot and partly because, Jesus, justlook at her. For some, including this writer, this fact only works as further proof that Upton isn’t actually a human but rather a robot designed by the government to be the world’s most beautiful woman and hypnotize regular Americans through the Dougie (the intense amount of Photoshop on that cover isn’t helping disprove the inhuman theory). For the folks at Fox News, though, this meant that they had the chance to interview both Uptons in one morning about the young model’s sexy pictorials.
First, on Fox and Friends, came Kate. Shockingly, it turns out that there just aren’t that many questions that news anchors can come up with to ask theSports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl and so a couple tend to get repeated. “What’s your number?” and “Can you start dancing on my early morning TV show?”
Speaking of politicians, not two hours later, Rep. Fred Upton, “Uncle Fred” to Kate, showed up on Fox News as well to talk about various issues like the Solyndra scandal. Upton did his best with the questions but he seemed a little more comfortable talking Congress talk.
What grown man wouldn’t want to go on national television to answer questions about how “beautiful” his 19-year-old niece looks when she’s barely wearing anything?

Kate Upton: America’s love/hate relationship with the new ‘it’ model
By Maura Judkis

Kate Upton, a 19-year-old swimwear model, is your 2012 Sports Illustrated cover girl this year, and seemingly everyone has an opinion on her. Although the magazine’s cover model always makes news, it’s been a while since an issue has provoked such polarizing opinions: Fans of Upton will defend her fiercely, while her detractors have slung some vicious insults.
It’s not just bodysnarking or the annual feminist outcry against SI’s objectification of women — some of Upton’s harshest critics come from within the fashion industry.
Love:
Both men and women love her “real body”: Upton represents a move back toward the Cindy Crawford-style curvier supermodel, and away from the super-svelte sunken-cheekbone type that has been walking runways in recent years. “I hope she represents a new/retro standard in modeling. According to the New York Times, one of the contributing factors to Upton being signed to IMG was a YouTube video of her doing the Dougie.
She wants to be a Tyra Banks-style ‘modelpreneur’: It’s not enough to be a pretty face these days — models must nab endorsement deals and launch their own products to have staying power and move into Tyra Banks/Heidi Klum territory. Hate:
(That day, Erik Wemple noted with glee that a bikini-clad photo of Upton appeared on the New York Times’ Page 3.)
Her celebrity dating life makes her tabloid fodder: Upton has been linked to New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez and Kanye West, though she has denied dating both. Upton’s tabloid life means she risks being overexposed in more than just a too-tiny bikini sort of way. And speaking of that bikini ...
Certainly, the ability to wear unnaturally small bikini bottoms has not endeared Upton to women. A CafeMom commenter wrote, “What bikini?
